Pacer Group is seeking a Senior Security Operations Center Analyst (Detection Engineering & Threat Response) to work remotely in the United States on a six-month contract. This role emphasizes day-to-day security analysis, rapid incident response, and the development of automated detection and response workflows.

The successful candidate will report to SOC leadership, translate threat data into actionable executive insights, and contribute to risk reporting and compliance metrics such as NCSC

• Deliver executive-level reporting, risk assessments, and compliance metrics (e.g., NCSC, Cyber Essentials Plus) to maintain visibility and governance.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Security Operations Center (SOC) is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Security Analyst to perform day-to-day security analysis operations, drive continuous process improvement, and advance detection engineering across enterprise environments. Reporting to the SOC Leadership, the successful candidate will solve complex security challenges by reducing mean time to containment, developing automated response workflows, and translating technical threat data into actionable executive insights.
