Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer for a hybrid role with 3 days in office across multiple offices. Design, build, own Snowflake ELT pipelines and data models powering analytics and operations.

You will mentor engineers, set standards, and collaborate with analytics, governance, QA and product teams. Strong SQL, dbt, Airflow, and data governance are required with growth into architecture/leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering
• College degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related fields
• Degree may be substituted by sufficient years of healthcare industry experience
• Experience with Provider Network and Contract Management, Digital Solutions, Pricing, Membership, Claims, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data Engineers; drive engineering standards and best practices
• Independently design, build, tune, and own scalable Snowflake ELT pipelines and data models
• Partner with analytics, product, governance, QA, and business teams to deliver data solutions
• Contribute to platform strategy, risk assessments, and adoption of modern practices (DataOps, CI/CD, AI tools)
• Ensure data quality, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Demonstrate technical leadership by breaking down complex work and delivering value
