Job summary

Mathematica seeks a senior leader with deep SNAP policy expertise to guide advisory services, manage multidisciplinary teams, and expand the SNAP portfolio. You will advise federal and state clients, design practical solutions, and lead business development across SNAP, food assistance, and human services perspectives.

The role requires extensive policy experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of delivering evidence-based outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree or equivalent experience in public policy, economics, public administration, nutrition, behavioral or social sciences, or related field.
• 15+ years in food and nutrition policy with 10+ years leading TA, policy support, or program operations.
• At least 7 years of business development experience including leading federal/state proposals.

Responsibilities

• Direct multidisciplinary teams on complex SNAP policy and operations projects.
• Advise federal/state agencies and partners on policy and program design.
• Lead business development and proposal strategy across SNAP and human services.
• Develop practical, evidence-informed guidance from research and data.
