  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Monitor federal and state policy developments and share guidance and practices.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop strategies connecting low-income older adults with nutrition benefits.
  • Develop resources, reports, presentations, and materials to support SNAP implementation and share lessons learned.
  • Support grant proposal development and reporting.

Job description

The National Council on Aging (NCOA) is seeking applications for the Lead, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), within its Center for Economic Well-Being.

This position will provide technical assistance, capacity building, and policy expertise to strengthen access to SNAP and other nutrition assistance programs for older adults.
