Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX seeks a senior mechanical engineer to design tightly toleranced RF components and develop detailed drawings. You will apply GD&T to ensure fabrication standards and lead engineering tasks with minimal supervision.

The role requires 10+ years in electronics packaging for military/aerospace, a DoD security clearance, and up to 25% travel to support programs. A relocation option may be provided.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 10+ years in design and manufacturing of electronics packaging for military and aerospace applications.
• Thorough knowledge of GD&T, ANSI drawing standards and first order analysis techniques.
• Ability to travel periodically to suppliers, manufacturing facilities and customer sites to support programs (up to 25%).
• Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the mechanical engineering field.
• Deep desire to mentor earlier career engineers.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, as this position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance.
