Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cash flow and commercial credit underwriting.
• Ability to work with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts.

Responsibilities

• Makes retention and business development calls on existing and potential customers.
• Develops new customer prospects and bank business.
• Maintains prospect lists and sales pipeline.
• Interviews applicants, completes required documentation and recommends loan products.
• Determines best loan structures and submits packages for underwriting and approval.
• Coordinates and attends loan closings.
• Recognizes opportunities to offer customer(s) additional bank products and services to meet their needs.
• Builds and maintains a portfolio of targeted high value and high potential small business clients; determines strategy and focus for the small business department and region.
• Acts as a financial advisor by educating the customer about financial strategies and matching customer needs with appropriate products and services.
• Monitors customer information/products, financial plan and market trends to identify new customer needs and opportunities to deliver further customer value.
• Performs all other duties as assigned
