Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA seeks a manufacturing engineer to develop and implement processes, layouts, and procedures for assemblies and installations. You will drive automation, analyze 3D models, and leverage data to improve efficiency and quality within aerospace manufacturing.

The role requires a STEM degree, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with CATIA/Creo/SolidWorks/NX plus PLM and MES tools. A security clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment across multiple disciplines.
• Experience with electrical harness design review, fabrication, and installation.
• Experience with 3D modelling and MES/PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and layouts.
• Drive adoption of automation and digital tools to increase efficiency and quality.
• Analyze factory data and apply SPC approaches for continuous improvement.
• Provide input to product design for optimal use of equipment and processes.
