Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX (and Palmdale, CA) seeks an engineering professional to support Skunk Works manufacturing and integration. You will work on-site with suppliers and co-producers, perform design reviews, and develop assembly plans to keep production flowing smoothly.

You will interpret complex drawings, apply MBSE concepts, and help implement manufacturing improvements on the shop floor, with significant travel and a focus on collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with experience in manufacturing.
• Experience working cross-functionally with industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, QA and production operations.
• Experience supporting vehicle systems installations and integration into final products.
• Active secret security clearance within last 5 years.
• Ability to travel 25–75% based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-producers and suppliers to address production needs and support events on-site.
• Conduct critical design reviews and ensure alignment with manufacturing processes.
• Develop assembly plans and innovative solutions for efficient production flow.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation.
• Provide direct on-floor support and troubleshoot issues.
• Utilize PLM and MES to develop manufacturing processes.
• Interpret drawings and translate MBSE designs into manufacturability steps.
• Collaborate to drive continuous product Improvement.
