Lockheed Martin Skunk Works is seeking a manufacturing/process engineer in Palmdale, CA. You will drive corrective actions across build areas, perform critical process reviews, and partner with quality and production to reduce variation and failures.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, cross-functional manufacturing experience, and active security clearance. The role leverages Six Sigma tools and PLM/MES systems to enable robust product realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree.
• Experience in manufacturing with cross-functional disciplines (quality assurance, production, design, industrial and manufacturing engineering).
• Experience supporting air vehicle and part assembly including composites, metallics, structural assembly, systems installation and test operations.
• Experience in integrated corrective action and RCCA.
• Active secret clearance with a recent investigation or enrollment in CE.
• Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Work corrective actions for discrepancies in a manufacturing environment across multiple portions of the build.
• Conduct critical reviews of processes to identify gaps and close the process gaps to reduce variation.
• Collaborate with quality engineering and production operations to triage repeat failure modes.
• Utilize lean six sigma toolsets to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Lead corrective action investigations and engage cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with team members to explore out-of-the-box thinking for product improvement.
