Job summary

Amazon in Hollister, CA is seeking a Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with operations, execute WHS policies, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will lead a team of safety professionals, mentor leaders, and drive continuous improvement with lean and Kaizen methods to reduce ergonomic and safety risks.

The role requires strong communication, risk assessment, and data analysis capabilities, with responsibilities spanning training, audits, and cross-functional leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety/environmental programs.
• 7+ years in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles in operations.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends to support direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Measure site performance and develop plans to fix deficiencies.
• Ensure safety records and data integrity with accurate reporting.
• Lead Kaizen events and drive incident trend analysis with leadership.
