Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety Manager to partner with the site operations team and drive compliance with local and regional regulations. You will lead a team of safety professionals, conduct risk assessments, and deliver lean-inspired safety improvements across processes to protect our associates.

You will communicate clearly, train leaders and WHS staff, and develop leadership plans to ensure safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs, manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, as required to support direct reports and site needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon Safety Policies.
• Measure site performance against published requirements in safety policies; identify and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safety record keeping and data integrity with accurate reporting and metrics.
• Lead Kaizen events and drive safety improvement initiatives with Operations teams.
