Job summary

AIS Infrastructure is seeking a Site Safety Manager to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and contractors on construction and industrial projects. This role develops and enforces safety standards, trains staff, and investigates incidents to drive continuous improvement.

The position requires extensive safety program experience, familiarity with OSHA regulations, and the ability to obtain security clearance for secured facilities; travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety programs and site safety management.
• Experience with at least 2 federal design-build projects with total cost ≥ $5M.
• Strong familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 regulations.
• Experience with heavy civil projects including excavation, utilities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for secured facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures and programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into plans.
• Provide safety training and PPE orientation.
• Investigate accidents and prepare corrective action reports.
• Maintain records of inspections, trainings, incidents, and communications.
• Conduct job hazard analyses for specific tasks.
• Monitor and improve safety programs; implement corrective measures.
• Stay updated with industry safety practices and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with agencies and clients to ensure compliance.
