Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group in Lukeville, AZ is seeking a Site Safety Manager to lead safety programs across construction and industrial projects. You will develop policies, conduct inspections, train crews, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

This role requires a minimum of 10 years in safety management on federal design-build or heavy civil projects, ability to obtain security clearance, and strong communication to collaborate with project teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in safety programs and site safety management.
• Safety management on federal design-build projects with total cost $5M+.
• Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 regulations.
• Experience with heavy civil construction including excavation and earth moving.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for secured facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and risks.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into project plans.
• Provide safety training and orientation to employees and contractors on PPE use.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inspections, trainings, incidents, and safety communications.
• Conduct job hazard analyses for specific tasks or sites.
• Monitor effectiveness of safety programs and implement improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
