Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III to own end-to-end reliability of the ServiceNow platform within the Enterprise Technology group. You will drive incident response, establish SLOs, enhance telemetry, and lead performance improvements across JVM, databases, and platform components.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering with 3+ years of practical experience.
• Strong understanding of SRE culture and principles and implementing SRE within apps or platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net and solid observability basics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reliability for the ServiceNow platform, including incident response and SLO/observability.
• Lead blameless post-mortems and drive non-recurrence actions.
• Define/defend SLIs/SLOs and improve telemetry, monitoring, and performance testing.
• Monitor platform and product performance metrics and coordinate remediation with engineering.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce toil.
• Perform design reviews for platform/tenant implementations and align with architecture.
