GEICO is seeking an experienced SRE Software Engineer to design, operate and troubleshoot high‑performance distributed platforms, ensuring zero‑downtime and rapid incident detection.

You will lead incident management tooling, runbooks, on‑call protocols and collaborate across teams to improve reliability, resilience and platform capabilities, reporting to the Technology Operations Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of observability and incident management practices.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and operate automation, self‑service tools, dashboards, and data pipelines that automate and scale incident management.
• Lead or heavily influence post‑incident reviews, root cause analysis and systemic reliability improvements.
• Mentor senior engineers and teams through technical leadership, code/design reviews and operational coaching.
