Job summary

Parabola is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to measure and improve how our software runs, spanning performance, security, and architecture. You’ll be on-call and help scale workflows built on Temporal, with a hybrid NYC or SF office presence about 3 days a week.

You’ll work with leadership to improve reliability and developer experience across the stack. You’ll collaborate with engineering to implement robust SLOs/SLAs, extend infrastructure, and optimize systems for growth and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SRE, DevOps, or Platform engineering experience.
• Proven record of building efficient, performant systems.
• Familiar with containerization and orchestration tools and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Monitor core business-logic software and define SLOs/SLAs.
• Extend and monitor infrastructure stack for business-critical usage.
• Maintain a model of systems for risk estimation and planning.
• Collaborate with engineering and leadership on SRE topics.
• Improve orchestration and run thousands of workflows efficiently.
• Advise backend projects with SRE perspective.
• Optimize services for scalability, stability, and observability.
• Improve developer experience and engineering processes, including AI tooling.
