Job summary

Releady partners with a leading healthcare technology company to build AI-powered platforms for nonprofit and community health plans across the country. As a Consultant Site Reliability Engineer, you will instrument products for full observability, signal reliability issues to development teams early, and increasingly go into the code to fix them yourself.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role in which you will contribute directly through pull requests, help engineers who rotate

Qualifications

Experience leading reliable production systems across multiple engineering teams.
Strong software engineering skills in Python, TypeScript, or Node.js.
Hands-on experience with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
Experience with Terraform-based CI/CD and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP accepted).

Responsibilities

Establish the SRE framework, production standards, SLOs, and error budgets.
Design the rotational model for engineers into the SRE function as products launch.
Lead full instrumentation of the first product across availability, throughput, and quality metrics.
Go into product codebases to identify root causes and deliver fixes via pull requests.
Recommend observability and self-healing tooling, favoring open-source solutions.
Establish incident response and post-incident learning practices and drive automation roadmap.
