Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager to lead field operations on our multi-site projects. This role requires ownership of safety, schedule, quality, and subcontractor coordination from project start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction, strong leadership, and fluent problem-solving abilities. Frequent site visits and collaboration with the PM team are essential in delivering on-time, on-budget results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Proficiency with project-management software and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of field activities from start-up to project completion.
• Maintain and track the project schedule; create two-three week lookahead.
• Provide real-time data to PM/Scheduler for schedule maintenance.
• Ensure site safety requirements are met; coach subcontractors on safety.
• Lead on-site management team and coordinate subcontractors.
• Review drawings and coordinate with PM/DM; monitor budget impact.
• Mentor and train subordinates; promote Gray policies and culture.
• Attend meetings; report on safety, schedule, quality, budget and customer relations.
• Travel to project sites as required by Gray’s travel policy.
