Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager to join their Field Operations Team for field/project based work across the United States. This role leads on-site management, safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination to ensure project success.

You will mentor team members, enforce Gray procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement across projects while traveling to various sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years related construction experience.
• Experience leading on-site field activities and coordinating design, project, and schedule.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Proficient in common software including Excel, SharePoint, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Own all field activities from start-up to completion, including safety, quality, schedule, planning, and coordination.
• Maintain and track project schedule with 2-3 week lookahead; use as management tool.
• Provide real-time schedule data to PM/Scheduler.
• Lead on-site safety culture and enforce policies; stop work when needed.
• Conduct regular site and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Mentor and develop team members; train subordinates on Gray processes.
