Job summary

Gray Construction in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Site Manager to lead field operations on multiple projects. You will own safety, quality, schedule, planning, and subcontractor coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of construction experience, demonstrated leadership on-site, the ability to read architectural and engineering drawings, and strong communication skills for reporting progress to the PM team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience, on-site leadership
• Experience managing field activities across large projects
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all aspects of field activities from start up to completion on projects
• Maintain and track project schedule with a 2–3 week lookahead
• Provide real-time data to PM/Scheduler for schedule maintenance
• Ensure site safety requirements are met at all times
• Train project team on Gray software (CMO, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Concur, E-Time, GoGray)
• Lead meetings coordinating subcontractor activities on site
• Review drawings and coordinate with project team to maintain current set
• Monitor project budget and financial performance
• Mentor and develop on-site team members
• Assist in buyout of subcontracts and procurement scheduling
