Job summary

Moog is seeking a Senior Site Environment Health and Safety Engineer for an on-site role in the Buffalo/East Aurora area. You will lead EHS programs, training, and data interpretation to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of manufacturing EHS experience. On-site responsibilities include coordinating with the EHS team and regulatory agencies."

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, chemical, engineering, or related field.
• Five (5) years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience identifying hazards and prioritizing corrective actions.
• Experience interpreting EHS data for reporting.
• Experience creating or updating EHS programs and conducting training.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and analyze risks across operations.
• Create or modify EHS procedures and audit programs.
• Create and deliver EHS training programs.
• Interpret regulations affecting the operating group and propose compliant processes.
• Provide guidance to develop compliant solutions and process improvements.
• Ensure regulatory permits, data reporting, and EHS system procedures are maintained.
