Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Global Environmental Health & Safety to lead enterprise‑wide EHS strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance across operations.

The role partners with manufacturing, engineering, quality, HR and supply chain in a highly regulated aerospace environment. You will build a world‑class EHS program, advance a proactive safety culture, and manage staff and sustainability initiatives in a dynamic, onsite Buffalo, NY setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field; master's preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles with multi-site/global responsibility.
• CSP and CIH required; CHMM or equivalent environmental certification preferred.
• Must live locally to the Buffalo, NY area or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global EHS strategy aligned with corporate goals, operational excellence, and ESG priorities.
• Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on EHS risks, trends, and compliance requirements.
• Build and sustain a strong safety culture focused on prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead EHS integration for new programs, expansions, and acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state/local environmental agencies, and aerospace regulatory standards (FAA/DoD).
• Oversee environmental permitting, reporting, and audits; direct incident investigations and root‑cause analysis.
