Job summary

Miller Bros. Const., Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II to lead heavy civil site-development projects for private commercial clients, including data centers and distribution facilities.

You will own projects from bid to closeout, coordinating owners, developers, GC’s, engineers, and field teams to deliver safe, profitable outcomes on time and within budget. Responsibilities include leading preconstruction and execution, preparing bids and estimates, managing contracts and change orders, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive project management and/or estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience managing site-development projects with earthwork, building-pad prep, underground utilities and related civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and industrial site-development projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, developers, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Align sitework execution with milestones, turnover, utility availability and phased completion.
• Provide proactive communication of bid challenges, risks, cost impacts, and schedule concerns to the Group Manager.
• Prepare bids and detailed cost estimates; review plans, specs, geotechnical reports, and contracts.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and closeout activities to protect scope and profitability.
• Oversee project budgeting, cost forecasts, schedules, execution, and field reporting to optimize profitability.
• Coordinate field activities with Superintendents, Foremen, and field leadership to meet safety and quality goals.
