Job summary

Miller Bros. Const., Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II to lead heavy civil site-development projects from bidding through closeout.

You will manage scope, schedule, cost, and client relationships for commercial and industrial sites, coordinating with owners, developers, general contractors, and field teams to deliver profitable, on-time results. You will utilize HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob for bids and cost control, ensure safety compliance, and report project performance to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive project management and/or estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience managing site-development projects including earthwork, grading, underground utilities, and storm drainage.
• Experience with large-scale data centers, distribution centers, warehouses or similar commercial/industrial sites preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and industrial site-development projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, developers, GCs, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, change orders, and client relationships to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate field activities with Superintendents and Foremen to meet milestones and quality targets.
• Prepare bids and detailed cost estimates using HCSS HeavyBid and review plans and specs.
• Represent MBC in meetings and protect project scope, schedule, and profitability.
