Job summary

Tighe & Bond, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Land Use Team in the Northeast. The role focuses on leading civil/site design, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

You will manage client relationships, oversee environmental permitting, and mentor junior staff while applying sustainable design principles. This position offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning required.
• 10–13 years of experience in civil/site design, land use planning, or project management.
• Active PE license or AICP certification.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (2014 or later), and HydroCAD.
• Strong knowledge of environmental permitting processes and land use regulations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams on site/civil and environmental projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute engineering design tasks for civil/site development projects.
• Develop project plans with schedules and resources for timely delivery.
• Lead the design and preparation of site/civil construction documents, including layouts and stormwater plans.
• Prepare technical specifications, cost opinions, and project reports.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve design conflicts, and oversee project phases.
