Job summary

Tighe & Bond invites a Project Manager 1 to join the Land Use Team in Westfield, MA to drive civil/site design and environmental permitting for infrastructure projects across the Northeast.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with 10–13 years’ experience, a PE or AICP, and advanced CAD skills. You’ll coordinate with clients, regulators, and staff in a collaborative, hybrid work environment that supports growth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred).
• 10–13 years in civil/site design or land use planning.
• Active PE or AICP certification.
• Advanced AutoCAD/Civil 3D/HydroCAD proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of environmental permitting and land use regulations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil/site design tasks from concept to construction documents.
• Develop project plans, schedules and allocate resources.
• Lead site/civil construction document preparation and coordination.
• Prepare technical specs, cost opinions and reports.
• Serve as primary client and regulator contact.
• Mentor engineers and ensure design quality.
