Job summary

WSP is seeking a senior Site Civil Engineer to join our team, focusing on electrical utility and renewable energy projects. The role supports grading, drainage, site layout, and permitting across multiple office locations with hybrid or remote options.

The candidate should have 10+ years of post-education experience, a civil engineering license, and expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, HydroCAD, HECRAS, and Flo-2D. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of post-education engineering and civil design experience.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Experience in site design for utilities, industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure, storm drainage and stormwater management design, site grading, roadway, and utility design.

Responsibilities

• Support grading and drainage/stormwater management design for electrical utility and renewable energy sites.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables for civil/site projects.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer/Manager to ensure scope, budget, and quality expectations are met.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
