Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer for a hybrid role based in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will lead civil site development for substations and transmission projects, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients, regulators, and constructors to deliver compliant designs.

Applicants should have a PE license, a civil or mechanical engineering degree, 7+ years in industry, and strong writing and communication skills. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 7+ years in a project team environment in civil design of industrial projects and power delivery, with specific substation site grading and drainage experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on substation and transmission line projects and perform civil site development work including calculations, designs, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, suppliers, and permitting agencies to ensure complete and timely design.
• Guide and oversee other civil engineers and civil designers in completing civil engineering project work.
