Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer to lead civil design for substations and transmission sites, coordinating with clients and internal teams. The role emphasizes technical leadership, site grading, drainage, and permit experience.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil/Mechanical Engineering and PE license.
• 7+ years in civil design of industrial projects with substation/site grading experience.
• Experience in permits, SWPPP, SPCC, and environmental regulatory processes.
• Proficiency with Civil design tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Work on substation and transmission line projects and perform civil site development work including calculations, designs, and specs.
• Coordinate with project managers, client personnel, contractors, suppliers, and permitting agency personnel to ensure complete and timely design.
• Guide and oversee other civil engineers and civil designers in completing civil engineering project work.
