This senior role involves managing civil site development for electric substations and transmission line projects. The ideal candidate should possess a BS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and expertise in grading and drainage. This position offers a hybrid work model—four days in the office and one day remote—focusing on collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive engineering experience in civil site design, project engineering, and project management.
Required design experience in grading, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control.
Working knowledge of Georgia Erosion and Sedimentation Control Act and NPDES permit requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage civil sitework design packages developed by contract engineering consultants.
Lead civil engineering support for electric substation and transmission line projects.
Conduct statewide site visits for design coordination meetings and quality assurance inspections.
