Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Site Designer to lead civil site drafting, modeling, and design for substations and transmission lines as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You will develop 3D models, plans and profile drawings, coordinate with engineers and project managers, and provide peer reviews while traveling to client sites. This hybrid role requires a strong background in civil design and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science Degree in Civil or related discipline; or drafting related credentials.
• Twelve (12) or more years in civil site design for industrial, commercial, and power delivery projects.
• Experience preparing site design packages for environmental permits.

Responsibilities

• Work on substation and transmission line projects; draft, model, and develop 3D models and construction-ready packages.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and teams to ensure timely design.
• Provide oversight and peer reviews for other civil designers.
• Travel to client sites.
