Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Engineer with a PE to join our Land Development Engineering team in Florida.

You will produce site layouts, perform design calculations, mentor junior staff, and support project teams across civil site development tasks. Responsibilities include leading design efforts, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management, with regular coordination with local authorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 7 years related experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD software.
Familiarity with Hydraulics & Hydrology.
Strong communication and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

Design and create site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards.
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans and grading plans.
Lead site/civil design, hydraulics, erosion control, and stormwater management.
Coordinate permitting with counties and municipalities; local experience a plus.
Multi-task, prioritize workflow, and meet project deadlines.
Collaborate with project team to identify and solve impediments.
Perform pavement assessments and compile data/reports.
Occasional field work with local travel as needed.
