Job summary

SkyGrid is seeking a Simulation Engineer III to build and validate simulation capabilities within the SkyGrid environment. The role requires strong execution across development, integration, and collaboration with Boeing, Wisk, and external partners.

You will coordinate with the Systems Engineering Manager and align simulation work with program milestones, ensuring artifacts support Gate reviews and product validation in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, robotics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in simulation development, systems integration, or similar technical domains.
  • Strong understanding of simulation frameworks, tools, and architectures.
  • Experience integrating third-party simulation tools and APIs.
  • Experience in software coding (Python, MATLAB, Simulink) to build/test simulation models.
  • Ability to document simulation artifacts for handover to development teams.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop simulation capabilities for SkyGrid products and services.
  • Integrate simulation tools and resources from Boeing, Wisk, and partners.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster collaboration within the simulation team and with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of simulation processes and tools.
  • Prepare and present technical updates to leadership and external partners.
