Qualifications

• Seven or more years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of heavy construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Provide customer relations and communicate needs to management.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of machines and tools

Knowledge of heavy equipment machines (dozers, excavators, etc.)

Knowledge of major repairs on engines and systems

Proficiency with computer software (CAT ET & CAT SIS2.0)

Quality control analysis skills

Ability to operate hand tools and power tools

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduation from a diesel technology program

Seven or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience

Tools

Basic mechanic hand and pneumatic tools (metric/standard)
