Job summary

HOLT Group is seeking a Shop Service Technician 4 - Engine in Irving, TX. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel- or natural gas-powered engines and related equipment, following established procedures.

You will lead or join a team, using hand and pneumatic tools to build to spec, and mentoring others while maintaining safety and documented records. Mid-to-senior level with seven+ years of relevant experience; reading schematics and operating heavy equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

Seven or more years of diesel- or natural gas-powered engine experience preferred.
Ability to read and use schematics and diagrams.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; diesel tech program preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel or natural gas engines and related equipment.
Disassemble/assemble components to manufacturer specs using hand and pneumatic tools.
Mentor others and coordinate with shop management on repairs.
Maintain clean, safe work area and timely repair documentation.
Operate forklift and overhead crane as needed.
