Qualifications

• Four or more years of diesel-powered heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read/use schematics and diagrams; experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; diesel tech program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel-powered heavy equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Disassemble/assemble machine components using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Rebuild, repair, and maintain equipment and components.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs; assist with parts orders.
• Mentor technicians and ensure safe, clean work areas.
• Complete repair documents promptly and maintain equipment.
