Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnoses, and repairs on diesel-powered heavy equipment.
• Mentor and assist in training other technicians.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.

Skills

Knowledge of heavy equipment machines

Proficiency with computer software

Quality control analysis skills

Ability to operate hand tools and power tools

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduation from a diesel technology program
