Job summary

TP Mechanical is seeking an experienced site lead to manage daily field operations across Ohio. You will coordinate plumbing, piping, sprinkler and heating systems, read blueprints, and work with subcontractors to ensure on-time starts and successful project delivery.

You will supervise manpower, materials, and scheduling while maintaining strict safety standards, reviewing plans with CAD designers, and leading pre-planning activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years commercial field experience in sheet metal or HVAC operations.
• Stable work history desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversees on-site activity for manpower, materials, and scheduling.
• Maintains safety as a top priority; conducts pre-safety meetings and toolbox talks (OSHA 30 minimum).
• Preplans jobs by reviewing plans, specs, and scope; plans materials and crew size.
• Directs coordination, reviews CAD drawings, and signs off on prints.
• Lays out work and ensures tools and materials are on-site; assigns tasks a week ahead.
• Monitors productivity against estimates; drives improvement and team rewards.
