Job summary

TP Mechanical seeks an experienced on-site coordinator for piping and mechanical systems installation and repair. You will read blueprints, coordinate crews, and maintain safety standards while collaborating with subcontractors and other departments.

Leadership and effective communication are essential to drive timely project completion. Responsibilities include planning, reviewing drawings with CAD designer, ordering materials, managing subcontractors, and ensuring quality and closeout

Qualifications

Ability to read blueprints and understand mechanical systems.
Strong communication with customers, contractors, and team members.
Lead and delegate work, ensuring safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

Coordinate manpower, materials and scheduling on site.
Enforce safety as the top priority; conduct pre-safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Review plans/specs, plan pre-fab opportunities, and determine crew and tool needs.
Review and sign off drawings with CAD designer; coordinate with FAB shop.
Schedule work to minimize downtime and ensure all materials are on site when needed.
Walk the job daily to monitor progress, quality and safety.
Close out jobs with testing, startup sign-off, and as-built drawings.
