Job summary

TP Mechanical Contractors in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Sheet Metal/HVAC Superintendent who can read blueprints, coordinate installations, and lead field crews.

You will ensure safety, manage materials, attend jobsite meetings, and coach junior workers to improve skills while maintaining schedules and quality per contract. This is an on-site role requiring effective communication with contractors and customers to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
• Prioritize safety in all field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, install and/or repair sheet metal and/or duct systems.
• Assist with HVAC equipment installation and hangars/supports.
• Perform field fabrication and schedule task setups.
• Adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules.
• Manage materials to ensure timely completion and optimal use.
• Inspect work for contract/spec conformance.
• Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Attend jobsite and office meetings as required.
• Keep equipment maintained and ready for use.
• Meet the needs of customers, contractors, and workers.
• Keep superintendent/PM informed of issues affecting production.
