Job summary

RiverSource Life Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Collaboration Platform Engineer to lead design, deployment and operation of SharePoint Online and OneDrive within the Microsoft 365 stack. This hybrid role is based in Minneapolis and reports to the Technology group.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of engineering experience with SharePoint Online, OneDrive and related tools, strong governance sense, and a passion for automation and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of engineering experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies (SharePoint Online & OneDrive).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior authority for SharePoint Online and OneDrive, guiding complex platform issues.
• Design, review and implement scalable enterprise solutions using SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Microsoft 365.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, reference designs and documentation.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis with sustainable fixes.
• Identify opportunities to automate administration, reporting, governance and operations.
• Evaluate platform risks and implement controls with cross-team collaboration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and operations staff.
• Evaluate new Microsoft capabilities and drive adoption with business impact.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, supportable solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability, governance and user experience.
