Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Lead Modern Workplace SharePoint Engineer to join the Information Technology team in Minnesota. You will lead architecture and modernization of SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams integrations across the enterprise, driving knowledge sharing, automation, and secure content management.

The role requires strong governance, information architecture, and content management expertise, with collaboration across Enterprise Architecture,

Qualifications

6 years relevant experience required.
8 years of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 engineering experience preferred.
5+ years of SharePoint Online experience preferred.
Experience leading enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 implementations and migrations preferred.
Experience developing governance, information architecture, and content management strategies preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of SharePoint Online across the enterprise.
Serve as the primary technical authority for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams integrations, and Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
Develop and maintain governance frameworks, site provisioning standards, content lifecycle policies, taxonomy strategies.
Lead intranet, portal, document management, knowledge management and collaboration platform initiatives.
Design and implement scalable content management solutions supporting business operations and client engagement.
Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into modern Microsoft 365 solutions while aligning with enterprise standards.
Drive SharePoint modernization including migrations from legacy platforms and on-premises environments.
Lead the integration of SharePoint with Power Platform, Copilot, Viva, ServiceNow, CRM, and other apps.
Develop standards, reference architectures, procedures, and engineering documentation.
