Job summary

CLA, a leading professional services firm, seeks a Lead Modern Workplace SharePoint Engineer to guide enterprise SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 collaboration, and content management initiatives. You will lead governance, architecture, and modernization efforts while partnering with security, risk, and enterprise teams.

The role emphasizes delivering scalable solutions across Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, and Power Platform, with a focus on knowledge sharing, employee experience, and secure content

Qualifications

• 6+ years relevant experience required.
• 8+ years of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 engineering experience preferred.
• 5+ years of SharePoint Online experience preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 implementations and migrations preferred.
• Experience developing governance, information architecture, and content management strategies preferred.
• Experience integrating SharePoint with Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of SharePoint Online across the enterprise.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams integrations, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Develop governance frameworks, site provisioning standards, retention policies, and metadata strategies.
• Lead intranet, portal, document management, knowledge management, and collaboration initiatives.
• Design scalable content management solutions supporting operations, employee experience, and client engagement.
• Drive migrations from legacy systems to modern SharePoint and Power Platform integrations.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and project teams on Microsoft collaboration technologies.
