Job summary

CLA is seeking a Lead Modern Workplace SharePoint Engineer to join our Information Technology team. The role focuses on leading the architecture, governance, and modernization of SharePoint Online and related Microsoft 365 services across the enterprise.

You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions and drive digital workplace transformation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 engineering.
• 8 years of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 engineering experience preferred.
• 5+ years of SharePoint Online experience preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 implementations and migrations preferred.
• Experience developing governance, information architecture, and content management strategies preferred.
• Experience integrating SharePoint with Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and ongoing optimization of SharePoint Online across the enterprise.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams integrations, and Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, site provisioning standards, content lifecycle policies, and metadata strategies.
• Lead intranet, portal, document management, knowledge management, and collaboration platform initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable content management solutions supporting operations, experience, and client engagement.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into modern Microsoft 365 solutions while aligning with enterprise standards.
