Job summary

WillScot is hiring for an experienced Set-Up Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up modular units, anchoring, leveling, and constructing components for relocations and installations.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in setup/knockdown work with strong carpentry skills and the ability to direct others. A valid license assists eligibility; this position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current, valid license required.
• Minimum of 7 years set-up and knockdown experience required.
• Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades are a must.
• Previous management experience or working with other trades is a plus.
• Ability to direct others is a must.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and anchor units, including blocking, leveling, and skirting.
• Build and ship buildings, secure exterior walls and related components.
• Perform site service work on customer units (skirting, electrical, plumbing).
• Complete daily paperwork (leases, inspection sheets, driver logs).
• Coordinate maintenance on trucks; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain tools and equipment; adhere to laws and regulations.
