Job summary

WillScot is seeking an experienced Set-Up Technician to install and dismantle modular units across our locations. The role requires extensive field experience in anchoring, leveling, seaming, and building components, plus the ability to modify units as directed by management.

You will ensure safety standards, perform routine truck maintenance and support on-site operations, while completing essential paperwork and coordinating with the branch team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years set-up and knockdown experience.
• Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades.
• Current, valid license required.
• Ability to direct others.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties to set-up units: anchoring, blocking, leveling, seaming, and building links, decks, skirts, layouts, and footing work.
• Performs knock-down duties: building shipping walls, securing exterior walls, separating buildings, disconnecting utilities, securing items for shipment, and site clean-up.
• Performs service work for customer units on the road such as skirting, electrical and plumbing work.
• Performs customer modifications as assigned by the branch manager.
• Completes daily paperwork including lease agreements, inspection sheets, set-up advice, and driver logs; submits to manager.
• Maintains safe operation of trucks daily; conducts pre-trip and DOT inspections; coordinates maintenance with service manager.
• Keeps tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Fully complies with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
