Job summary

WillScot in the United States seeks a Setup Technician to support on-time deliveries and high-quality installations of temporary space solutions. You will perform unit set-up, modifications, and routine service in the field, while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

This role requires carpentry skills, ability to work independently, and good communication with customers, sales teams, and shop staff. WillScot offers stability, training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades are a must.
• Set-up and knockdown experience preferred.
• Some experience with customer relationship management preferred.
• Previous management experience or working with other trades is a plus.
• Some knowledge of computers and good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up units including anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS installation, steps, canopies, and ramps.
• Additional installation and removal of skirting may be required.
• Knocks down buildings: shipping walls, securing exterior walls, disconnecting utilities, and preparing items for shipment.
• Performs service work on the road, including electrical and plumbing tasks for customer units.
• Performs customer modifications and completes Work Orders via the Field Service Application.
• Maintains tools and equipment in good condition.
• May take on duties of Branch/Field Service Tech as needed.
• Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
