Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Setup Technician to install and prepare modular units, including anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS, and ramps. You will also perform on-site service like electrical and plumbing work, and handle customer modifications while maintaining equipment and completing work orders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades are a must.
• Set-up/knockdown experience preferred.
• Some experience with customer relationship management preferred.
• Previous management experience or working with other trades is a plus.
• Some knowledge of computers is necessary and good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Set up units: anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS, stairs, canopies, ramps.
• Installations and removal of skirting as needed.
• Prepare buildings for shipment: ship walls, secure exterior, disconnect utilities, clean site.
• Provide on-road service for customer units (electrical/plumbing).
• Handle customer modifications and service orders via Field Service Application.
• Maintain tools and equipment in working condition.
• Possibly perform Branch Service Tech tasks as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
