Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Setup Technician to join our team in North America. You will perform essential duties to set up modular units, anchor and level them, install features, and complete related service tasks while ensuring safety, quality, and timely deliveries.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, carpentry skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A valid license and good driving record are preferred, with opportunities to grow within a

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades are essential.
• Set-up and knockdown experience preferred.
• Some knowledge of computers and good communication skills required for dealing with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel and co-workers.
• Experience with customer relationship management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets up units including anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS installation, stairs, canopies, and ramps.
• Performs installation and removal of skirting as needed.
• Handles knock-downs of buildings: shipping walls, securing exterior walls, disconnecting utilities, prepping for shipment.
• Performs service work on customer units on the road (electrical/plumbing).
• Executes customer modifications and completes Work Orders/Service Orders via Field Service App.
• Maintains tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Form relationships with internal and external customers at all levels.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades
