Job summary

Department on Aging in Augusta, KS seeks a Program Coordinator to assist in planning and directing aging services. The role manages grant-funded programs, coordinates outreach, and provides case management for Senior Care Act clients.

Under supervision, you may act for the Director in their absence and support reporting, budgeting and program evaluation across multiple initiatives while handling communications and community relations.

Qualifications

• Requires four years related experience or higher education equivalent.
• Experience in gerontology, nursing, health, social work or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Continuing education: 40 hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director and act in the Director’s absence.
• Maintain records for all programs under this role.
• Coordinate and market in-home services and large-scale events.
• Provide case management and arrange services for clients.
